Umm...
I am in need of a dark emerald green maxi skirt, loose dress shirts…and a day to just shop.  It’s only the first week of the quarter, and I’m already swamped with applications, essays, assignments. Thank goodness, we have monday as a holiday.

I am both looking forward and not looking forward to going back to school on Monday. I’ve briefly looked over course syllabuses/syllabi (sp?), and I’m already overwhelmed. The fact that I forgot about completing some tasks and missed some deadlines do not help in easing the transition either. However, I am ready to try and really focus this quarter.  What I need to actually finish is...

New Years and other things
My jetlag has been hitting me the past two days, and all I want to do is sleep. I’m currently visiting my boyfriend in Walnut Creek. For New Years Eve, we just went out to dinner with his friends. But since I was extremely exhausted, we went back to his mom’s for the night, and I basically slept after trying to stay awake until midnight. I can’t believe I was so tired. Yesterday,...

Just arrived back this afternoon. I’ve got about 7 days left of Madrid.

yesterday
It is my last night in London, and for some reason I cannot force myself to sleep. Last night was the opposite. It was the first time that I actually had an adequate amount of sleep since arriving in Spain. As a result, I felt great exploring London today. We ventured into the soho district, which Tyler and I fell in love with. It was my ideal place to live in. An artsy community full of unique...

London so far
Tyler and I have settled into our new hotel near the earl’s court tube station. At first we thought it was a hostel, because I originally thought I had booked a hostel, but luckily it turned out to be a very decent hotel. I was in disbelief! Our own private bathroom, a tv, bed, desk. We were very relieved that we could set our backpacks down. No more getting lost in that Smart Russell square...

okay.
I need to try and sleep and stop thinking about everything. I cannot have another emotional breakdown. Everything will be alright.

world in front of me
Madrid has been a great city so far.  Some notable things I’ve explored: Parque del Retiro- This is a huge and beautiful park. We only got to stroll around a corner of it, but I got to see a pond of ducks, a large lake where people paddle boat, a crystal dome, and lovely nature surrounding us. Apparently the park is supposed to be crowded on Sundays since most shops and businesses are...

First day in Madrid
So today ended up being what both what I imagined and what I did not. First off, Tyler and I survived meeting each other at the airport. The unfortunate thing was that my stupid suitcase handle broke and part of the side was ripped, meaning I had to drag it by the small handle everywhere because we weren’t meeting with our friend Amy until later in the day. Also I forgot to mention that...

Last day before I depart
I need to get up and do things, but I feel extremely lethargic. Packing is going to be aggravating.

Why am I mad/frustrated/annoyed? I had Lee’s Coffee, so I can’t sleep. I’m trying to watch something on hbogo, but my thing won’t load properly. My boyfriend. Tasks. My life. That is all.
