yesterday
It is my last night in London, and for some reason I cannot force myself to sleep. Last night was the opposite. It was the first time that I actually had an adequate amount of sleep since arriving in Spain. As a result, I felt great exploring London today. We ventured into the soho district, which Tyler and I fell in love with. It was my ideal place to live in. An artsy community full of unique businesses. I saw publishing companies such as Hearst, which was neat. Some of the architecture looked very modern, while others maintained its old Tudor style. Carnaby street was lovely. There is also a type of department store called Liberty that consisted of four floors full of apparel, accessories, stationary, chocolates, etc. I adored the exterior and interior of the building. It made me feel like I was in a crafty multilevel market selling upscale items.
We both impulsively decided to get haircuts at a place called headmasters. That’s where a large portion of the last of my pounds went. But I like my new hairstyle. Just some subtle trims with the layers and shorter bangs. I had a ritual done also, which is basically a hair conditioning treatment. Tyler attempted to look like a true Brit with a shorter cut that went along with his newly fashionable ensemble.
We ended our evening with a dinner at a very cool Thai restaurant. I swear most businesses in the soho area have some sort of eco friendly or healthy touch to them. They’re….rejuvenating. Yes. That’s the word. Our dinner was delicious nonetheless.
I suppose I should get some sleep now. I do have to wake up in a couple hours. Cross my fingers that I get some rest tonight.
